We evaluate your situation, and determine the right fit for your needs. Generally, Dawn will do the initial evaluation and deliver most solution services. In situations where your needs require special skills and abilities that are not part of our company core services, we will make arrangements on your behalf to secure an appropriate resource, or will introduce you to our recommended resource, or work with a provider that you prefer. 

In each case, you're assured of working with a specialist who is experienced, qualified and available to meet your specific needs. We work in partnership with trusted talent, and our business reputation is on the line every time we extend a referral (and they know it!). 

This is a great question. Based upon your specific needs, we'll give you a clear proposal that explains the timeframe, activities, and expected results, once we have an initial discovery conversation. This helps us to know what you need to achieve, and then we create the plan and the price respectively. In general, there are short-term engagements and longer-term engagements, based specifically on the organization's needs and goals. 

We typically start with a discovery conversation with organizational leaders, to ensure that we understand the problem, and the elements that may contribute to it. This conversation is about 60-90 minutes, and can be in person or virtual. During this session, we ask a lot of questions, so you may wish to have information about your specific situation handy. Depending on your situation, we may give you an information checklist in advance, or you may already know the answers!

Once we are clear on your project needs and goals, we'll send you a proposal for the engagement work that usually includes a few options (different budgets) in scope of services and methods. You choose the option that works best for your organization, team and budget. If you have questions, or the situation changes, we're happy to respond. Most of our clients turn to us for additional services as their organization achieves results and gains traction, advancing their goals. 

We deliver solutions to your specific problems, not a standard package with elements you don't need. You get only the services you need, every time. We primarily deliver services based upon an engagement agreement that states exactly the work that will be done, timeframe, and price. This provides a benefit to the client by controlling the total expense, while minimizing the consultant's time to track hours and minutes. We believe that is generally a win:win relationship. 

At the same time, it places the burden of unanticipated risks or changes on the consultant. While we are experienced at service delivery and the resource requirements to deliver these services, sometimes highly variable situations will be offered at an hourly rate. You'll be informed of this during the contract stage. 

Sometimes the external world shifts while we're in the midst of a project. Let us know that we need to revisit the project, if we're not already aware. In most cases, we're able to either modify our work, timing or targets to meet your needs providing scheduling changes can be accommodated. In some cases, the agreement will need to be revised, subject to mutual agreement on revised terms. We try to be flexible and supportive as much as possible. 

In most cases, there is an initial deposit amount due upon acceptance of the consulting engagement project. Depending upon the term of the project, subsequent payments may be at 30-day intervals if short-term, or quarterly if long-term. Payments are typically due when invoiced, or within 10 business days.
